PWN Auto Landscape Material and Mask Compositor (ALMMC 2)

The PWN Auto Landscape Material and Mask Compositor 2 (ALMMC2 for short) was designed to bring simplicity to Landscape texturing into UE4. ALMMC utilizes masks exported from your Landscape Generation software (like Gaea, World Machine, etc.) to texture your landscape. The setup is simple, using only 1 material instance. In the Material Instance Parameters, you will be greeted with a list of settings for each material, based on close and far distances from your camera, so you can eliminate pesky tiling. Variations in the Materials allow a non-uniform natural look. ALMMC is so simple to use, all you have to do is check a few boxes and move some sliders, like if you are using a custom color map and normal map exported from your landscape software, or what resolution your landscape and masks were generated at. It supports 1009, 2017, 4033, and 8129 and a simple tick box does all of the work for you by applying the Landscape Coordinates to both your masks and your custom color and normal map. No manual intervention required.

Landscapes look great at close range and far away.

Updated in ALMMC 2, there are 2 test levels at 2K, which showcase the look and simplicity of final results. TriPlanar mapping is fixed, and it has been optimized for better performance.

Additional Work is being done to make it more modular but it is already quite powerful out of the box. The better you mask your landscape externally from UE4, the better your landscape will look.
